   My mom had angio , passed in 2000 , we were only told how rare it was, she lasted on year from diagnosis, very aggressive
   have been trying to learn more , hers was from radiation at lump site , burned skin that dr told her to watch over 5 years and oneday, wow angio and no hope

     Hi Beth, So sorry to hear about your mom. I think most of us feel that sense of isolation whether we or a loved one receives the diagnosis. That’s one of the reasons this site exists!    My daughter Angy died of angiosarcoma April 29, 2010. She was only 15 and it’s been very hard to understand how this rare cancer occurred to her at such a young age!

   My wife was diagnosed in Dec 2009 had a 16 hour op in Feb 2011 when her upper teeth and pallet were removed. The cancer is now in her lower jaw, it’s painful and she finds it difficult to talk. She cannot eat properly and survives on drinks and soft food. At the moment it is still confined to her jaw. We are hoping and praying for a miracle. She is up and out every day living life to the full as much as she can because she feels the future is so uncertain.
   Angiosarcoma is a nasty evil disease and we all long for an answer to its destructive force.
